The 4th International Conference on Dengue Control and Prevention is a jointly organized event by Rotary International District 3300 and 3310, and hosted by the Rotary Club of Muar. The conference will be held on 31 March 2022, Thursday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at SKT Hall, Muar, Johor.
The conference aims to bring together clinicians, researchers, government public health leaders, policymakers and Rotarians to update on the latest dengue situation, raise awareness on dengue control, share experiences and strengthen the collaborating network devoted to effective management of dengue practice within and outside Malaysia.
This is the 4th International Conference organized by The Rotarian Action Group on Dengue. The 1st Conference was held at University of Phayao, Thailand on 21 February 2013, the 2nd at the University of Teknologi, Malaysia on 20 September 2014 and the 3rd at the University of Holy Angel, Philippines on 19 May 2017.
1. To update on the latest dengue situation and raise awareness among clinicians, researchers, government public health leaders, policymakers and Rotarians on optimal control of dengue epidemics.
2. To advocate and empower the community in the effort of dengue control.
3. To share experiences, best practices and models that may be developed for community-based dengue management.
4. To build and strengthen the commitment of national and regional stakeholders on the effort towards dengue control.
