Purpose

The District Vibrant Club Seminar is a chance for members to learn about how membership, public image, and The Rotary Foundation work in unison to help us fulfill Rotary’s strategic plan, which is known as our Action Plan.

Scheduled dates

The District Vibrant Club Seminar is scheduled into two parts:

  1. Part 1 to be held on 15 Aug 2020 (from 4pm to 6pm)
  2. Part 2 to be held on 22 Aug 2020 (from 4pm to 6pm)

Both are to be conducted over Zoom with a duration of 2 hours each.

Who should attend?

Seminar attendees can include:

  • Club officers
  • The district governor-elect
  • The district governor-nominee
  • Assistant governors
  • Other members who are interested

Participant materials

Registered participants are encouraged to take these courses in the Learning Center to prepare for the seminar:

Registered participants are also requested to take the Rotary Club Health Check, which is part of the Is Your Club Healthy? course. It will be part of an activity during the seminar.

Registration

Registration is required for the District Vibrant Club Seminar Part 1 & Part 2.

Upon registration, you will receive a personalized Zoom link sent to your email address from Zoom.  Therefore please check your mailbox.  There will not be a separate Zoom link sent via WhatsApp.  Do NOT forward your Zoom link meeting to any other persons.

Getting Ready

  1. Select a location with strong & stable wireless internet connection.
  2. Ensure that there will no sound/noise interference in the background when you join the session.
  3. Always mute your microphone unless you wish to speak or raise question at the appropriate time.
  4. When asking question, please identify yourself by saying out your name and name of your club.
  5. Do not have a bright light behind where you will be seating. Sufficient light should be infront of you so that other participants can see you.
  6. Please turn on your video.
  7. Dress appropriately.
  8. Choose an appropriate background or use a virtual backdrop if your computer supports it
