NEW MEMBERS
RC of Singapore East inducted Tommy Chiang and Michael Tey.


MEDICAL CAMP AND DONATION
RC Kulai with the support of CIMB, National Kidney Foundation Malaysia and Community Link  held a free medical camp on 2 Mar 2019 at SJK (C) Kelapa Sawit.



RC Kulai also made a donation to SJK (C) Kelapa Sawit.


BLOOD DONATION
RC of Batu Pahat undertook a Blood Donation project. It was led by OC Nur Zafirah and her hardworking committee.


SCHOOL UNIFORM PROJECT
In this project organised by RC of Malacca the students of ACS Melaka were brought to Bee Loon (which is a popular supplier of school uniform) and given new uniform.


GIFT OF ENGLISH STORY BOOKS
RC of Tangkak Ledang, Malaysia & RC of Tanjong Pagar Singapore embarked on the Gift of English Story Books project with a view to promote English Language in the district of Tangkak Johor. The schools selected are SJK Tamil Jalan Sialang, SK Sri Tangkak, SJKC Chi Ming 1 and SJKC Chi Ming 2.


FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES
1. RC of Johor Straits View & RC of Johor Centennial
Rotary Club of Johor Straits View & Rotary Club of Johor Centennial will hold a fundraising event called “Jom Senam Johor on 20 April 2019, 7am at Ponderosa Golf & Country Club, Taman Molek”.

The proceeds collected from this fundraising event will benefit children and patients from low income families (Hospital Sultan Ismail & Hospital Sultanah Aminah). To support this meaningful event please click the link:

The event will include a a marathon fitness and workout session comprising 1.5 hours of Zumba, Aerobic, Aerobox and MMA followed by a fun-filled morning of live band performance, fun games, lucky draws & many other fun activities for the family.


2. RC of Kuching
Rotary Club of Kuching partnered with OCBC Bank in organizing a movie Captain Marvel at the IMAX TGV cinema on the 9th of March to raise funds mainly for End Polio Now. There was an audience of 358 people. They also invited more than 100 children from 3 organisations i.e. Perkata, Breakthrough Hub and Baiturramah). They also organised activity for the children before the movie with the help of Interactors and Rotaractors. Their media partners include Cats FM and Borneo Talk magazine and food sponsors from Nandos and TAKA cake house. A small portion of the proceeds went to the children organisation, rural health medical mission and breast cancer organization


CAREER DAY
The Rotary Club of Muar organised a Career Day on Saturday 9th March 2019 in collaboration with the District Education Department of Muar. A total of 66 students from five Interact Clubs of Muar participated in this Career Day held at Dewan Perdana Wawasan, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Muar.


ROTARY INTERNATIONAL (RI) APPOINTMENT
PDG Michael Yee has been appointed as member of RI Credential Committee for the Hamburg Rotary International Convention. Congratulations to Michael.

DISTRICT TEAM TRAINING SESSION
This event was held on 2 March 2019 at Hotel Mutiara, Joho Bahru for incoming District Officers and Assistant Governors. Thanks to RC of Puteri Lagoon for being the host club.
